reverie is victoria nicole zachos’ debut publication: a collection of poems presented in two parts—herself and reformation—accompanied by a breadth of illustrations provided by a variety of collaborators. inspired by the poets of her generation and those that have come before, reverie is victoria’s poetic contribution to those coming of age in today’s society. as a young woman, victoria penned a series of poems as she moved through stages of self-discovery, heartache, acceptance, and self-love. through these moments of quiet self-reflection, victoria learned that there is beauty in pain—and that neither are eternal. may readers discover the value in the broken, and may reverie be a place of hope and healing for those it finds.

victoria nicole zachos is a student at the University of Toronto, where she studies psychology and creative expression and society. victoria’s educational career, thus far, fed her creative writing skills, and her love of artistic expression led her to discover poets such as Rupi Kaur, Atticus, Blake Auden, e e cummings, Morgan Harper Nichols, Alice Walker, and more. as victoria grew up and began to experience more of life, she found peace and comfort in self-expression, culminating in the collection that is reverie. but reverie is more than a series of poems; it includes illustrative contributions from a variety of other artists, making it a place of community for those looking to share in life’s common experience.
