The Maniwaki Walk
by Ben Theriault

After 4 years of studies at Juilliard, Leona Collins, on opening night of her first off Broadway production literally bumps into US Marines Ryan Butler. Little did either of them know that their lives would change forever. In Boston, her mother Marie-Louise, unable to get to New York City due to a raging Blizzard, sits daydreaming of a long ago vacation in Canada; to the 'magical village' of Bellevue, New Brunswick. Years later, Leona and Ryan's son Jason is carving out, as best he can, his own path in life. As you are invited to read: On the Maniwaki Walk wishes do really come true, if the one you're with truly loves you!

Ben Theriault has always loved reading and writing since childhood and even then wrote bits of news for his local paper where he earned pennies per written inch. Although he worked in many fields after school such as aerial survey with the RCAF, and research assistant with the then BBG, not to mention nearly 5 years hitchhiking around the world, he always held his passion for writing close to his heart. This Taurus happily and currently lives in Montreal. The Maniwaki Walk is his first novel.
