Weldon B. Durham lives in North Georgia. He studied theatre at San Jose State University and at the University of Iowa and taught at the University of Arkansas and the University of Missouri. His family in Western Oklahoma where he grew up included two brothers, and he has realized that his heroine, Grace Lampley, is the sister he never had and never got to know.
