Jennifer Gies is an author and second-time rescue dog mom. She retired from her corporate HR role to spend time with her family and Lucy (her first rescue dog). After she adopted a rescue dog with anxiety, Jennifer was inspired to share his story so that parents could help their children overcome similar fears when facing new situations. Jennifer lives in Acton, Ontario, with her husband, two dogs, and two cats.
