Mervin the maple tree has seen all kinds of things, but he’s never seen a leaf as curious as Lester! Lester is a brand-new leaf, and he wants to learn all about the world. He asks Mervin about the animals in the tree, planes flying by in the sky, a caterpillar that becomes a butterfly, and the blossoms and seeds growing around them. Mervin and Lester soon become friends. But when autumn comes, Mervin and Lester are faced with a new part of life: the natural cycle of trees and their leaves. The Curious Life of Lester the Leaf is a charming story that teaches children about animals, the seasons, and how to say goodbye to close friends. It’s a perfect teaching tool for parents and educators, with beautiful illustrations and a charming story to keep children engaged and having fun.
