Out Of The Forest Of Errors
by
Owen T. Smith
In Out of the Forest of Errors, poet, recording artist, singer, songwriter Owen T. Smith invites the reader on an introspective and often lyrical journey toward inner understanding and sought after wisdom. Collecting free verse, song lyrics, notes, and cards to family and lovers. This assortment of printed words, spans over fifty years of personal, introspective writing, with works that paint a soul in flux, exposing the author’s inner thoughts and at times his human weaknesses. The poems and lyrics herein occasionally merge Eastern and Western thought, the metaphysical, and interior spirituality, playfulness and reverence, the sacred and occasionally the profane. Ultimately, these are one man's ever grateful internal insights and poetic musings culminating today here in the 21st Century.
Owen T. Smith is an award-winning singer, songwriter, entertainer, with numerous charted songs and frequent airplay on television and radio. Owen is also a film technician who has worked on numerous TV shows, commercials and feature film productions, including three Academy award-winning films. Raised and influenced by loving Christian parents, he is a lifelong student of mysticism and world religions who knows there are many paths to the source of all, but only one Divine destination. He lives in Port Credit, Ontario.
