Elena McBride is the owner of the real-life Nacho—a big, goofy American bulldog. Nacho’s friendly and curious personality inspired Elena to set pen to paper and start writing down some of his many adventures. Elena lives with her husband in Toronto, where they enjoy travelling, reading books and going for walks with Nacho throughout their neighbourhood.
