The One Book
Poetry, Philosophy, Politics, and the Potential to Awaken the Critical Thinker
by Michael David Marziliano

THIS BOOK STANDS ALONE IN A BOLD WORLD, AND CHALLENGES THE NORMS OF SOCIETY. The collection tackles the Trump administration, Israel and Gaza, fatherhood, Canadian identity, and the struggle for artistic freedom in a world increasingly dominated by billionaires and technology. These writings urge readers to look up from their phones and textbooks, resisting, ass media and the ivory towers as they strive to liberate their minds especially the white noise of religions around the world.

He began writing poetry as a teenager inspired by lyrics in the cassettes like BON JOVIs SLIPPERY WHEN WET and MADONNA’S ‘’LIKE A PRAYER. His poems developed into essays engaging with the work of great thinkers like Christopher Hitchens and DR, Cornel West, though he always found room to disagree even with his idols. His love of music would find him again, in an unconventional way. As part of the local concert security company, he was chosen to tour with Shania Twain, regularly adding himself to the show, carrying her around arenas like a roman entourage, that led him to opportunities in film. Taking an uncredited role in KISSs DETROIT ROCK CITY protecting ACE FREHLEY's daughter. It was in this occupation he started to see patterns in human behavior. He found time to realize university life wasn't for him, but not before he took the night shift at U o Ts Mississauga radio.
