Tom Scanlan is the host of the podcast Hidden Gems Toronto and the author of seven urban geography textbooks. He has written articles for various Canadian newspapers, including The Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star, and the Ottawa Citizen. His grandchildren were the inspiration behind this book.
