Love for Sale
Chronicles of a Canadian Call Girl
by
Maureen Teahan
Sometimes hilarious and sometimes horrifying, this darkly candid memoir is guaranteed to educate and entertain. From precocious pre-pubescent to troubled trollop, Sandi takes you on a deep dive to her rock bottom that will leave you gasping for air. Alternating between vivid accounts of encounters with Johns and tender childhood memories, the narrator paints a graphic portrait of a woman’s journey through rebellion, addiction, and self-discovery. I pause dramatically, whirl around, and flip up my dress, revealing lacy, pink thong panties and voluptuous, unfettered breasts. At the ping of the microwave, I generously pirouette, giving my ass a little shake along the way. The blushing teenager beams as I shimmy the crimson fabric back over my curves. Spinning about, I strut out the front door, calling over my shoulder, “Dinner's ready!” “Thanks, Sandi!” Johnathon hollers. I saunter down his driveway and hop into the waiting Cadillac. “My pleasure, honey,” I shout with a wave. “Don't forget to feed the cat!” Little Johnny shrinks away as we pull out. “Seriously?” snarks Diesel. “You doing kids now?” “Yup!” I laugh, checking my phone. “In and out in ten minutes—literally!” Or is it figuratively? I always mix those up. “You have absolutely no scruples, do you?” “Just fuck off and drive!” I hand him his twenty bucks. “Take me back to the office.”
