My name is Elle Duperreault and I am 12 years old. I am from urban Saskatchewan. I enjoy sports, drawing and writing. I especially love animals. It has always been my dream to write a book. My book is inspired by a true story that captured the hearts of so many. I decided to write the story from Charlie’s perspective. This is one of my favourite family stories and I wanted to share it with the world (in book form). Charlie is still alive today (2024). He is old, but he’s still living his best life! I love this story, and I hope you did too. I hope this story will make everyone feel like anything is possible with family and friends to help you along the way, including your dogs!
