Elizabeth Vaters has a background in business management and communication. She and her husband lived among a Mayan people group in Guatemala for sixteen years where they developed a literacy program and worked to preserve and promote the Mayan language and culture. Upon their return to Canada they faced a season of profound challenges, which led Elizabeth on a search for solutions and meaning. She discovered the secret that empowered them to overcome adversity and achieve a welcome turnaround in their circumstances. A native of Gander, Newfoundland, Vaters and her husband currently live in Osoyoos, BC, where she continues to write, teach, and inspire.
