"From our flour covered noses to our wagging tails, thank you for joining us on this delicious adventure!" - Ben and Thor

Kelsey Doucette loves to bake, particularly with her dogs. She shares recipes and Ben and Thor’s daily adventures on social media, as well as tips for baking with and for dogs. Her practical experience in the kitchen, love for animals, and experience running a successful business have given her authentic experience in writing for young readers. She writes because she wants to share her knowledge and inspire others. When she’s not spending time outside at the lake, Kelsey can be found walking and hiking with her dogs and travelling to new places. She lives in the small town of Big River, Saskatchewan, with her husband, their two dogs, Ben and Thor, and two cats. Sharyn Houle has a degree in psychology and social work, has taken a course on writing children’s literature, and possesses a genuine love for animals. Her educational background has provided her with insight into child development and effective communication. She began writing because she was passionate about writing an exciting children’s story and has continued because it allows her to share her love of animals and children’s literature. In her free time, Sharyn enjoys spending time at the farm with her racehorses, looking after dogs, and working out outside. She lives in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where Ben and Thor frequently visit her.
