maybe this is a story about water
by
Jessica Wiebe Schafer
maybe this is a story about water explores what it means to hold spiritual beliefs in the face of a changing world. It questions, seeks, grieves, explores new answers, and ultimately celebrates the joy that can be found in connection to the world and the Divine. Though anchored in a Christian worldview, it will appeal to spiritual seekers of any tradition. This collection invites readers to embrace the challenge of rethinking, reshaping, and reimagining their faith and provides encouragement for the journey.
Jessica Wiebe Schafer had her first poem (about the ocean) published in an international school journal in Grade 4. She is a spiritual director, psychotherapist, and mother to three young children. She lives in Nanaimo with her family on the unceded territory of the Snuneymuxw, Snaw-naw-as, and Stzuminus people.
