Ted and the Fish
by Cady Lynn O'Brien

Did you know millions of years ago, dinosaurs roamed Alaska! Meet Ted, the Parasaurolophus. He is an adventurous Alaskan dinosaur. Ted is not like most Parasaurolophuses. He likes to explore. He likes to try new things. He likes fish! Parasaurolophus eat ferns, fruit, water moss and foliage, not fish. But Ted wants a fish. Has he tried a fish? No. Ted decides that fish are special, that fish are his favorite food. How will he catch a fish? Ted, the Parasaurolophus goes on an adventure to get a fish, learning many lessons along the way! He works on different ways to solve problems, he learns to barter with another dinosaur, and he makes a goal and finds ways to achieve that goal. Ted and the Fish highlights two Alaskan dinosaurs, a Parasaurolophus and a Pteranodon. This book includes fun facts for extended learning opportunities for children, including what these dinosaurs eat, if they lay eggs or have live babies, and where they lived. Fun dinosaur facts, like how they make sounds and what their names mean are also included! Did you enjoy Ted’s adventure? Teds next adventure, Ted and the Forest, is coming soon! Also coming soon, Ted’s sister Sally decides to join Ted for his adventures.
