She earned an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing from San Antonio College, Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at San Antonio, nurse practitioner certification from UT Southwestern Dallas, Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice from Walden University.
