Terry N. Hoagland is a seasoned educator and school administrator with nearly fifty years of experience. Over the course of his career, he has taught over a thousand students in his classes and supported still more in his administrative roles across almost all educational levels. Since 2012, Terry has been instructing and coaching adults on the vital skills of emotional intelligence, communication, and relationship-building. His work has had a profound impact on many, particularly those facing challenges including issues of domestic violence. Recognized as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) by the state of Oregon, Terry’s practical experience and expertise in mental health management and relational skills have made him a trusted resource for schools, community organizations, and individuals looking to strengthen their relationships to themselves and to others. He is frequently called upon to share his insights and tools, which have helped countless individuals improve their emotional well-being and relational success. Now retired, Terry lives in Brownsville, Oregon, and continues to mentor and educate others about the power of emotional intelligence and effective communication in building strong, lasting relationships. This is his first book.
