Tonia's Spider
by Kimberly Esdaile Gordon

Young Tonia conquers a crippling fear by learning how to bring consciousness into a troublesome, recurring, bad dream about a terrifying spider. In doing so, she empowers herself to master the skill of directing her own dreams! Across time, dreams have always been a source of wonder, inspiration, and mystery. Come along with Tonia, and see how even a young child can learn to bring consciousness into the dream state. Kim has been doing author signings and book reading at local Chapters/Indigo stores in support of Make-A-Wish Eastern Ontario. http://ottawacitizen.com/entertainment/books/ottawa-author-hopes-to-empower-children-to-conquer-their-fears

Kimberly Esdaile Gordon is a former competitive figure skater who practised mental imagery skills in a conscious state to improve high level performance. While pursuing graduate studies in psychology at Carleton University, she studied both visualization and lucid dreaming. One of her core beliefs is that the thoughts people create, whether in a conscious or unconscious state, direct their reality. Kim's love of children inspired her to write this book. Residing in Canada's beautiful capital, Ottawa, Kim cherishes the memories she makes with her husband, Kevin, and their six children - Alyssa, Stewart, Connor, Rebecca, Cleo, and Lillian.
