Maureen F. Reynolds (B.A., B. Ed. retired R.M.T.) Maureen was born in Surrey, B.C. She and her husband have celebrated over 55 years of marriage and raised their two children in Halifax, N.S. She obtained her B.A. at the University of British Columbia and her B.Ed. at Dalhousie University. She started teaching music in her mother's music studio. After her marriage, she taught in a Junior High School in Canberra, Australia. Later she taught in two private schools in Halifax. She began teaching private piano lessons in1974 and became a Registered Music Teacher in 1989. She also taught "Music for Young Children" for 18 years, wrote music for this program and won a "Cornerstone Award" for her contributions. One of her songs appeared on the Canadian "Sesame Street" T.V. show. Her main interest is telling children stories and teaching them to enjoy music.
