Krista was born in Kindersley, Saskatchewan but grew up in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She moved to small town Okotoks, Alberta in 2007 with her boys, Ethan and Liam. She is passionate about early Childhood development, nature and learning. Her background is in Early Childhood Education with a Diploma in ECE, Child Psychology, Daycare Business Management and as an Educational Assistant. She has written for Calgary’s Child Magazine, appeared on Global TV as a parenting and childcare expert, worked with Daycares, Preschools, Day-homes, and Non-Profit Organizations for almost 40 years. Now semi-retired, she writes books that show her love of nature, magic and learning but most importantly to share this series of amazing, and true stories with young readers everywhere.
