Farmer Bunkles’ Extraordinary Carrots is the first of many stories in The Daily Happenings of Fogsworth County series. It takes us to the quaint farming town of Wuggleston, where we are introduced to some key residents of the community. This tale centres around a man named Farmer Bunkles, who is known throughout all of Fogsworth County for growing the sweetest, crunchiest, most perfectly delicious carrots in the whole wide world! One particular summer’s night, an entire field of the delectable delicacies went missing. How this happened was a complete and utter mystery. Come and help Farmer Bunkles and Detective Magna Fye solve the case, and join the first of many adventures that take place in the magical county of Fogsworth!

Jody Sue Thorogood, proud Mom to five beautiful children, and blessed Mema to two precious little girls, calls Fredericton New Brunswick home along with her husband and family. Jody’s love for children and her desire to help them thrive while growing, led her to a career in childcare and child education. Having run her own daycare, focusing on preschool learning, she provided a space where parents knew that not only were their children being cared for deeply, but were given the opportunity to learn, grow and be nurtured in a joyful and safe environment. Jody is on a new career path now, but one that still holds the same objective. She provides a happy and safe space for children to be in through her stories as a children’s book author. As life seems to become more and more complicated for not only adults but for children as well, Jody has created a world where children can escape to as they read and are read to. Bringing humour, life lessons, and friendships, alongside her daughter who beautifully illustrates, she trusts children will embrace what she has created. Jessie Beth Livingston, accomplished visual artist, art instructor, and Registered Canadian Art Therapist (RCAT), resides in the picturesque village of Williamsford, Ontario along with her cherished husband, daughter, and Maltese puppy. At an early age, Jessica’s’ parents and teachers recognized her talent in drawing, painting, and creating. As her love and ability in the visual arts grew with each passing year, she was encouraged to pursue it as a career, and she did exactly that. Jessica’s use of beautiful bright colour, her attention to detail, and her ability to capture what the author has written through illustration, has her on a new career path as a children’s book illustrator. Her passion for captivating the hearts of children through illustration is evident as she embraces the opportunity to create throughout this book series.
