It’s a beautiful day for a drive, and Grandma and Grandpa are out for a ride in their minivan. But when Grandpa rolls the windows down, it’s a little breezy, and one big gust of wind pulls Grandma’s wig right off her head! There’s no time to pull over, so Grandma’s wig is off on an adventure of its own. Grandma’s wig flies through the air and lands right on top of a deer—but soon, another gust of wind comes along. Where will the wig go next?

Kelli Stoermer has dedicated her life to working with children, from teaching early childhood and elementary music to running the operations of a non-profit children's choir organization. Now a mother of two avid readers, Kelli is passionate about creating engaging children’s stories that encourage a love of reading. Kelli’s relationship with her own grandparents inspired this story, which is based off the exaggerations of a real situation! When not writing, Kelli enjoys singing and spending time with family. This is the first book she has written and published. She is excited to continue writing children's literature in the future.
