Talking To Your Highly Sensitive Child
A Path To Self Regulation
by Gillian Strange-Dell

Drawing on the work of renowned American psychologist and author, Dr. Elaine Aron, and her theory of the Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), and in particular, the Highly Sensitive Child (HSC), psychotherapist Gillian Strange-Dell dives into the neurobiology and behaviour of children with heightened sensitivity to the world around them Talking to Your Highly Sensitive Child: A Path to Self-Regulation offers a practical guide for parents and teachers on how they might assist children who may be struggling with excessive stimulation and sensory overload to manage their anxiety and self-regulate their behaviour. The book includes three age-appropriate stories designed to be read with children aged two to twelve to facilitate discussion about their feelings and actions.
