Gwen Schaefer is a former preschool teacher who taught for 14 years and developed a passion for early literacy. She volunteers in daycare centres in Calgary, Alberta, instilling the joy of reading to children and their caregivers. Her hobbies include gardening, baking, quilting and scrapbooking. Her first self-published book, The Covid Virus, is available on Amazon.
