Savion’s Mighty Adventures
by
Taylor Leibel
and
Angeline Leibel
In a cozy, sunlit town, young Savion’s days are filled with love, laughter, and the heartwarming stories of his beloved grandmother, Nana Rose. Her magical tales and comforting hugs are the highlight of his world—until everything changes. After the heartbreaking loss, Savion embarks on an unexpected journey when he drifts into a dreamlike adventure, stepping into the shoes of his superhero alter ego, Danger. In this mystical realm, Savion encounters magical creatures and faces precarious challenges that reflect his own real-world feelings. Guided by wise and mysterious creatures, Savion’s quest becomes a thrilling, emotional journey of courage, memories, and the unbreakable bond of love. This captivating story intertwines fantasy with deep emotional growth, delving into themes of love, loss, and the enduring strength of the human spirit. It’s a touching tale that inspires young readers to draw strength from their memories and celebrate the lasting legacy of those they hold dear.
Angeline and Taylor Leibel are sisters with a shared love of children’s education. Angeline is an early childhood educator with a master’s degree in education. Throughout her courses and working with children, she never came across a book that helped children deal with grief in a child-friendly manner, so she decided to collaborate with her sister, Taylor, to write one. Taylor is a nanny and aunt who was inspired to write this story while watching her nephew put on different costumes and act out various characters. Thinking this would be a good way to help children process grief, she wrote a story about a little boy who uses an imaginary character to do just that. When she’s not writing, she enjoys baking and spending time with her pets. This is the first book from the Leibel sisters.
