After discovering a seed inside her apple, Maggie becomes really excited to plant it and watch it grow. Based on a true story, the relationship between Maggie and her grandma only grows stronger as they spend several years taking care of the apple tree. They often try to guess how big the tree will grow and how many apples they will get from it. Starting from a tiny seed to blossoming into a beautiful tree, they learn it takes a really long time for apples to grow. In the end they learn that life long memories far outweigh one bad misfortune.

About the Author Nate is a first-time author, with The Apple Tree being the first book he has written. If you are trying to find him he is usually outside taking care of his gardens. When he has free time he enjoys playing make believe and dressing up with his kids. Pretending to be a rock star or a wizard are his favourites! About the Illustrator Katherine Olenic is a Digital Artist. She enjoys creating fantasy worlds and creatures in her illustrations using vibrant colours and a sense of wonder in nature. She has a degree in Digital Production and Animation and has completed work on various movies including Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Terminator Genesis, and Jurassic World.
