Distorted Happiness
by
Neha Khanna
Written over the last four years during a time of global isolation, personal addiction, romantic trials and internal insights; it's an expression of darkness, hurt, love and anticipated light. May it bring you some comfort in knowing someone else feels like you, with the understanding that it is what it is, but it doesn’t have to be. These poems are captured moments and emotions that hope to bring some light or insight to you.
Neha Khanna is a Toronto-based poet, personal stylist and real estate salesperson. This is her first published work based on experiences and memories throughout her early twenties. Poetry became an outlet for her in both dark times and great moments. She hopes her stories can reach those in a similar position and help them see the light at the end of the tunnel. @iunderstoodthatrefrence
