Charlie's Colorful Outer Space Candy Adventure
A Sweet Adventure for Kids 4-9
by Scott Cornfoot

When Charlie heads to the candy store, her simple trip spirals into a giant galactic adventure! At first, Charlie is overwhelmed by the candy store's many choices. But her candy-choosing problems take on a whole new dimension when Niles, a kid she just met at the store, recruits her help to fix an alien’s spaceship. Will Charlie be able to use her knack for problem-solving to repair the ship using delicious candy? And if she does, what kind of magic will she find when Altair the alien is ready to set back out on a journey through the cosmos? Charlie's Colorful Outer Space Candy Adventure is a wild, bright, funny celebration of imagination. This enchanting tale gently introduces themes of neurodiversity, friendship, and inclusivity. It's a great choice for parents and educators who want to expand on the spirit of creativity and adventure that lives in every child. This standalone book is the first entry in the Charlie-verse, a narrative universe of independent stories designed to be enjoyed on their own.

A Note to Parents and Educators: In 'Charlie's Colorful Outer Space Candy Adventure,' we celebrate the spirit of neurodiversity. Charlie is a young girl who lives her life authentically, without labels. While we don't explicitly mention it in the story, Charlie may be part of the neurodiverse community. Through her adventures, young readers experience the world seen through the eyes of neurodiverse individuals. This book encourages discussions about acceptance, friendship, and the beauty of embracing neurodiversity. Join us in celebrating the unique qualities of every child.
