Lana loves being in nature, treasure hunting, and spending time with her small family. She finds delight in every season, but especially summer. That night, she sees a shooting star and makes a wish for her baby sister. That wish changes little Lana's life—and everything she knows about how to make a wish come true. Amber R. Enns has been writing novels for a decade. She spends her days working in an elementary school, where she is often involved with reading to students and telling them stories. That has given her a unique opportunity to learn what kinds of stories kids are drawn to, and inspired her to start writing her own children’s books. Amber has loved to read and write from an early age, and studied both writing and literature in university. In her free time she enjoys crochet, cooking, baking, learning about history, and creating visual art. Amber lives in Morden, Manitoba, with her husband Zane and their dog Albert.
