Take it in! Michael Bernard Beckwith Founder & CEO, Agape International Spiritual Center Author, Life Visioning and Spiritual Liberation & Host, Take Back Your Mind Podcast
"For all too many of us, grief — especially fully expressed grief — has not yet emerged from the closet. This book does much to support that emergence in ways both practical and supportive. Highly recommended!" —Robert Augustus Masters, PhD, author of Spiritual Bypassing and Bringing Your Shadow Out of the Dark
Stephen Garrett has experienced success in life as a teacher, investment banker, social worker, author, cremationist, Interfaith Minister, executive director of the Memorial Society of BC, grief and loss counsellor for the Campbell River Hospice Society, and in his current role as a trainer for Rhodes Wellness College in Vancouver. He has written four books, including When Death Speaks: Listen, Learn, and Love (2018) and When Cancer Came Knocking: How One Family Answered (2019). Arising out of his personal experience with hundreds of deaths, Stephen’s heart passion and life energy are focused on changing our conversation about death from one of fear and denial to one of embrace and inspiration. He combines his life experience with his master’s in leadership and training as he trains and mentors people interested in dealing with dying, death, and grief in new and inspiring ways. Stephen lives in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, with his family and his two cats, and he enjoys cribbage, gardening, and music.
