Dinner With The Dead
by Gay Beaumont

Welcome to Dinner with the Dead, hold on to your head. Dress to distress. Champagne or moonshine, to your liking. Cheers, let’s celebrate the years! Thus begins a night to remember at the Infinite Inn. The story of a most unusual dinner party is told by the Infinite Inn’s owner, a woman with a thirst for knowledge, a hunger for connection, a dark sense of humour, and a penchant for a two-for-one special: the double entendre. Invitees to the party “ghost list” are living and dead, fictional and nonfictional. Painter Stefani Pagliaro talks charcoal with Vincent Van Gogh. Murray Silverstone, a recreational sailor, swaps adventure stories with Alexander the Great. From Ancient Egypt to Sherwood Forest to the backseat of a Chevrolet Bel Air convertible, Dinner with the Dead takes readers through a genre-defying investigation of history, creativity, and beyond mortality. Ultimately showcasing the vital interdependence of the everlasting human experience.
