Maureen Patricia Lowden is the author of Spill the Tea on MEditation. She is a certified Primordial Sound Meditation teacher with the Chopra group, has her Reiki Level II, and is a Certified Crystal Healer Practitioner. She has explored many other spiritual modalities, including Hoʻoponopono, a traditional Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness. Maureen has a BA in Religious Studies from the University of Waterloo, a master’s degree in Conflict Analysis and Management from Royal Roads University, and a master’s degree in Education from D'Youville University. She taught in the Ontario elementary school system for eleven years. Maureen spends her free time playing piano and guitar, sketching, and playing video games. She was born in Sarnia, Ontario, and has travelled extensively throughout Canada, the US, the UK, and Europe. She believes that in loving yourself you will come closer to the Divine, and that letting go means to let go.
