During his university days in Russia, where he was training to become an engineer, author Valeh Jafarov had a series of mystical experiences that triggered a life-changing spiritual awakening. Through these experiences and his subsequent study of spirituality, consciousness, psychoanalysis and related topics, he gained a deeper understanding of the architecture of the mind, the material and non-material worlds, the nature of the human psyche, the main causes of the problems we face in the modern world, and their relation to the lack of love and the dominance of the ego in our lives. This experience became the foundation for a lifetime of spiritual searching and growth that was intensified when he moved from engineering into the field of healthcare and holistic medicine. Jafarov wrote this book not only to share his experiences and insights with readers but also to show them how they, too, can break the limitations of consciousness, materialism, and the ego and live a new life filled with love, compassion, and fulfillment. Rather than a series of practical steps, this book offers inspiration for readers to follow their own unique path as they seek to make contact with the divine and catch their own glimpses of eternity.

Valeh Jafarov grew up in Azerbaijan when that country was still a satellite nation within the Soviet Union. He studied engineering in Russia, a career he worked at until he emigrated to Canada in 2003. Once in his new country, he shifted his focus from engineering to nursing and osteopathic medicine. Valeh lives in Toronto, Ontario, with his family. This is his first book.
