Sebastian and the Strange Noise
by
Christian Bell-Young
When Sebastian hears a strange noise behind his curtain, his imagination immediately runs wild as he tries to guess what it could be. With courage, he faces his fears and finds the source of the noise. With his father’s guidance, he discovers a sense of kindness towards another, once scary, creature. Sebastian and the Strange Noise is a tender-hearted and imaginative story about the curiosities of toddlerhood, the discovery of big feelings like fear and empathy, and the journey a child takes to become brave and walk in another’s shoes.
Christian Bell-Young is an author who began writing stories for his son Sebastian. These stories would be based on real-life experiences to help his son navigate the tumultuous world of toddlerhood. It wasn't long before the real-life Sebastian was hooked on the eponymous character, with Christian soon writing many adventures under the "Sebastian Story" series. Husband to Karen and father to Sebastian and Cecilia, he observes the world through his children's eyes and finds great inspiration there.
