Nature's Call
Day to Day Poetry
by Glenda Spears

The natural world is a place of solace and peace. When it is reflected in poetry, it brings the reader into that healing place. Nature's Call: Day-to-Day Poetry is just that kind of poetry collection. It will uplift readers with its clear language, its optimism, and its emphasis on the beauty of the world around us. The poems were written one a day, in the morning, about real situations and places in the poet’s life. Readers may choose to read the poems at the same pace, savouring each morsel, or dive in and watch the quick unfurling of a life of moments. If you want a reminder to look to brighter side of life and enjoy the small things, look no further than this honest, heartfelt, and inspirational collection.

I have always had poems pop in my mind, but have just started in the last few years writing them down. I started posting on social media and had many people say I should put into a book. So, here I am putting into a book. Hoping the whomever reads them can identify with much of the Content and can picture the scenes of Nature in their Minds.

Glenda Spears is an everyday, working-class person with an inner self that loves to take simple events and turn them into poems. Waking every day with these thoughts in her head, she decided it was high time to start writing them down. After sharing her daily poems with family and friends, she was inspired to turn them into a poetry book. Glenda is a lover of nature, and enjoys gardening, swimming, and walking in the woods. She keeps busy with all manner of hobbies, including crafting, knitting, crocheting, sewing, and carpentry projects. Her greatest pleasure comes from spending time with her grandchildren. She lives on Cape Breton Island, surrounded by the beauty of nature.
