Following God's Vision for My Life
by
Betty Charles
What do you do when you receive a vision from God, telling you to build a church? Eighteen years ago, Betty Charles received such a vision. She was a new believer, and the vision seemed impossible. In her search for answers to her many questions about how she was to go about building a church, where it should be located, and why she should be the one to build it, she was led to her birthplace in the Philippines. It was there that the real challenges began. This is a story of faith, trust, and obedience. Although Betty faced many setbacks and experienced hardships, betrayals, and uncertainty, she kept her focus on God, seeking His direction through constant prayer. Through courage and perseverance, Betty learned that nothing is impossible with God.
Betty Charles was born in the Philippines. She became a nurse and moved to Canada. She has been a volunteer on four mission trips, and has also organized and led a mission group. She has plans to attend the dedication ceremony for the church in the Philippines that she built according to the vision God gave her. Betty Charles lives in Selkirk, Ontario, Canada.
