The Gamperstone
by Martin "Gampers" Tkachuk

London and Wolfe are spending the night at Gramma and Gampers. They have such a good time baking with Gramma and chasing Gampers around the house. But when bedtime comes, London and Wolfe begin to fear the "something else"—scary thoughts and sounds that only come out at night. There’s only one thing that will help them get through the night and remind them of all the love surrounding them—the Gamperstone!

The Gamperstone is based on Martin Tkachuk’s real-life experience of wanting to find a way to help calm his grandchildren when they become anxious. Being a woodwork hobbyist, Tkachuk created Gamperstones for his grandchildren so they could overcome their anxiety by remembering all the good things in their lives. In his spare time, Tkachuk enjoys fishing, camping, and travelling with his family. He lives with his wife in Niagara Falls, Ontario, where they are enjoying being retired.
