Maggie the Whale
by
David N. Birman
Have you ever met a giant whale wearing a yellow shirt, a big floppy hat and sunglasses? I bet you have not! I bet you have never even thought of such a thing! Well, this is the story of how Grandpa David did just that and met his new friend, Maggie the Whale.
David N. Birman, MD is the creator and author of Maggie the Whale. David currently lives in Tennesse but grew up in California. He credits his parents for teaching him a love of reading, sailing and nature.
David originally wrote Maggie the Whale as a bedtime story for his grandchildren. He now hopes that even more children will love Maggie and want to learn more about her and our other ocean friends.
