She was inspired to write Oh I Wish I Were a Turtle after she went on a nature walk and connected meaningfully with the natural world. What would it be like to live under the trees? To have no responsibilities and no deadlines? She knew she wanted to write a book about the feelings that inspired her that day. And who better to personify this attitude than Hugo, who has spent over a century learning to live every day as an adventure. Sally resides in Edmonton, Alberta
