Sharlene has been a life long resident of Selkirk Manitoba Canada, where she and her husband of 34 years, Larry, raised their 4 children, Bethany, Jesiah, Trinity and Mac. They are now enjoying this next season in their life watching their 10 grandchildren grow. Sharlene’s love of writing presented itself at a young age where she began writing poetry. Later she would discover a way to merge her two passions, writing and music, where her venture into the world of song writing would eventually produce 3 c.d.’s and a Covenant Award nomination for Seasonal Song of the Year in 2007. She is excited to step into this new chapter of writing children’s books, which presented a wonderful opportunity to work with her son Jesiah as illustrator.
