Despite her family’s worries, Ladybug decides to pursue her dream and explore the world. Join Ladybug on her adventures around the globe as she meets colourful animals, visits famous cities, has fun with festivals and friends, and gathers stories to tell her family back at the rolled-up rug. Ladybug, Ladybug, Stay Here at Home is a story about the joys of travel, the depth of family love, and the true meaning of home.
Sarah Mercey is a story artist and animator who has spent her career helping to tell stories to families. She has worked for major companies like Disney, Pixar, Paramount, and Netflix, and won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Director for an Animated Series or Program for CBC’s The Magic Hockey Skates. She lives in Oakville, Ontario, with her husband and has two adult stepsons. She is always curious and hopes to live to be 401 years old so she can learn about everything!
