A Chair in the Middle of Nowhere
The Adventures of Will and His Lucky Striped Socks
It was just another morning on a beautiful spring day, only today, Will decided to wear his lucky blue socks with the rainbow stripes. Do you know what that means? It means Will’s about to have an adventure! Who knows what it could be! One time when Will wore his lucky blue socks with the rainbow stripes, he saw bubble-blowing elves teetering on the diving board of the pool next door . . . and they were holding umbrellas! Do you wonder what today could have in store?
Wait, what’s that HUGE chair doing in the middle of that farmer’s field? And what’s coming out from behind those trees? Is that a . . . baby dragon? Join Will as he embarks on today’s adventure, and discover what he learns along the way!
A. M. Mulligan is a retired radio and television journalist, on-air personality, and broadcaster. In retirement, Mulligan concentrated on a second profession: professional artist. She paints under the name Anne-Marie Crosby. Her paintings combine impressionistic style with realism, offering viewers a world they recognize, but one that has been infused with imagination. Mulligan’s writing is much the same.
Grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren, Mulligan began writing children’s books to capture the innocence of childhood. The first book in The Adventures of Will and His Lucky Blue Socks with the Rainbow Stripes series is intended to teach children about basic life concepts through using their imaginations to explore the world. A Chair in the Middle of Nowhere is a playful and inviting demonstration of the concept of sharing.
Mulligan lives in Vancouver, British Columbia. Watch for the rest of her series: The Adventures of Will and His Lucky Blue Socks with the Rainbow Stripes!
