Debut non-fiction author Sharon Kehler wrote The Day You Went Away to help her and her family heal after the sudden death of Derek and Helena. Sharon and Del live in Grunthal, Manitoba. Their daughter, Mandy, and her husband, Shane, have two young children – Mia and Jaleel – who adore their Nana Sharon and Grandpa Del and live close by.
