Where Should I Keep My Honey?
by
Josh Noble
'Where should I keep my honey?' is about a confused bee trying to decide where to keep her honey. While she gets more and more down in the dumps about having no good place to keep her honey, she is met with a pleasant surprise – there is a place that bees keep their honey together! This short book for young and learning readers (ages 4-8) is about overcoming problems using cooperation. The book introduces young readers to cooperatives and credit unions without ever mentioning them by name. This cute little adventure will delight and excite while teaching that challenges can be overcome by working together with friends, family, and the community.
Josh Noble is a credit union professional working in Saskatchewan. In addition to his professional role in the Credit Union system, Josh has an academic background in Communications and Cooperative Management. In his time at Unity Credit Union, the idea of passing cooperative values on from generation to generation remained a recurring topic. Retelling the cooperative story is an essential piece of a thriving credit union or cooperative, yet finding new ways to tell it eluded Josh and his team. This children’s book seeks to be one such retelling of the cooperative story in an easy to access format for young readers and new cooperative members. This is Josh’s first children’s book.
