by
Simrin Jasmin Kaur Sangha
This book is a compilation of poems about grief, mental health and growth. The purpose of the book is to help others who might have similar feelings that are portrayed through the poems. Writing helped Simrin come to terms with events that happened in her life and allowed her to heal. Simrin hopes her poetry can touch others and help them heal as well.
Simrin Jasmin Kaur Sangha is a 16 year old high school student with a passion for poetry and storytelling. She was constantly told by the world that she had to wait till she was older to pursue her dreams. Writing a book was one of her dreams that she pursued to fruition. The writings within this book were written by Simrin as early as age 13 through to age 16. The compilation of poetry depicts her experiences during her early teenage years. Writing helped Simrin deflect her emotions and get through some of the most difficult times in her life and she hopes that her poetry will help others with their personal journey in life.
