The Elephant's Shoes
by
Charity Yoder
The Elephant’s Shoes is a children’s book about love, loss, and healing. We all make decisions in our life—some that make us happy, and some that we regret. Author Charity Yoder believes that everyone, even young children, can better learn how to cope with the sometimes-painful outcome of their choices. This is a beautiful story about the power of connection and how to move on with an open and compassionate heart.
Charity Yoder is a writer living with her family and pets in Alberta, Canada. The Elephant’s Shoes is her first publication, inspired by her own life experiences that mirror those of the elephant protagonist. As a mother herself, she hopes this book will help young children navigate feelings of regret, as well as learn to let go and carry on when the decisions they make lead to something other than what they wanted.
