Dr. Bunnyworth
Of Partridges and Plum Pudding
by Dianne Marie

What would you do if you could talk to animals? (I mean really talk to them, the same way you talk to your parents or your friends.) Well, for one lucky person―with just such a talent―the choice was clear: become a veterinarian! And so, that's what she did. Now, Dr. Bunnyworth is the world's greatest vet. Just ask any of the animals living in or around Pleasantville. With Scruffy (her dog), Spike (her cat), and Greypuff (the mouse who lives in her wall), Dr. Bunnyworth gets the scoop on the health and welfare of all the animals in their cozy little town―even the ones with no people of their own. From sickly squirrels to puzzled partridges, she is always there to help her animal friends. But when it's time for the annual Pleasantville Picnic, Dr. Bunnyworth has concerns of her own: trying to win the blue ribbon for a first-place entry in the dessert-making contest. Unfortunately, trouble with a perturbed partridge proves problematic, and she must solve a muddled mystery and right some wrongs before it's too late. Will she be able to find the answers and put things right? And if she can, will she do so in time to participate in the contest? Will she win … proving that her plum pudding is the most delicious dessert in town?

Late night stories at her children's bedside and a love of animals led to Dianne Marie's creation of the fanciful Dr. Bunnyworth and her merry band of friends. Dianne and her family live on the east coast of the United States, where she spins tales of the warm, yet sensible Dr. Bunnyworth, so that children will learn problem solving, acceptance of other's difficulties, and the joy and satisfaction of helping their friends. Dianne has put her stories to print despite writing with a handicap: a cutie pug who likes to curl up on her typing arm! In her free time, she enjoys sunny days, a lively walk and a nice cup of tea. Watch for Dr. Bunnyworth's next adventure story!
