Perception, Perspective, & Problems
Our perceptions become our perspectives, and our perspectives can become so rigid that they create problems in our lives.
Perception, Perspective & Problems takes a look at the mind's process of using the past as a reference in understanding what we are currently experiencing, and how that process interferes not only with the present, but the future as well.
Delve into the filing cabinets of your mind, and learn how the conclusions you formed at the end of each and every experience created expectations, and why those expectations are at the root of all your unhappiness.
Discover how to live the life you were meant to by reviewing, re-assessing and re-writing the files in the filing cabinets of your mind.
Learn the importance of reconnecting with God, however you choose to define Him/Her, and find out how the Holy Spirit communicates with you.
Uncover the importance of forgiveness and how forgiveness really does set you free.
Regain your personal power, learn to love unconditionally, and finally live the life you were meant to live!
Penny knows how difficult it is to work through a painful past and find your way to the other side.
Being born with severe bilateral hip dysplasia caused Penny to walk with an exaggerated limp as a child, which resulted in years of being bullied, deep rooted feelings of shame, and layers and layers of anger. It would take over a dozen orthopedic surgeries performed in three different provinces by four different orthopedic surgeons over the course of thirty years to correct the skeletal deformity, and keep her walking pain free.
Penny's life challenges weren't limited to just physical limitations, she was molested by a family member from the age of ten through to the age of fourteen, and raped by the father of two children she was babysitting when she was just thirteen years old.
The perspectives developed during these and earlier experiences set the course for decades of resentment, conflict, frustration, and anger. Learning the importance of developing a relationship with God, and listening to the internal guidance from her Spirit helped Penny find her way to true forgiveness, peace and happiness. Working her way through the files in the filing cabinets of her own mind laid the foundation for Perception, Perspective and Problems.
Penny is a certified holistic therapeutic counselor and natural nutritionist who resides in Calgary, Alberta.
