My Oyster
A life of traveling, exploring and becoming
by Marilyn Bhadrena Restione

What takes a Depression Era New Jersey girl to an Indian Ashram, a Neolithic village on the edge of the North Sea, an Italian nunnery, to stand in the grotto of an ancient Greek Oracle and walk with Chaucer's bawdy pilgrims on their way to Canterbury? What makes a seemingly simple life into a rich journey filled with adventure, humor and discovery? What makes the world your Oyster?

"Fireworks and champagne spilling across a page. Bhadrena Restione turns travel into an adventure. At 80 plus years she is one of the youngest writers I have read. She clearly loves life, travel and writing. Read this book and laugh and cry and admire a life well lived and a road well traveled." –Jim Talone, winning documentary filmmaker and writer.

Marilyn Bhadrena Restione lives with a crazy dog in a small house on the edge of her beloved Atlantic Ocean. Born in 1928 she has played many roles in her life; inquisitive child, free-ranging adolescent, teacher, 'Stepford Wife', mother of three exceptional children, widow and at the age of 84, writer. Her first book, "A Treasure Hunt" explored that journey.
