Furry Tails
by
Luanne McGillion
A tiny forest fairy discovers the five children napping beside Flat Rock Brook. This fairy casts a glittering cloud of magical dust, transforming the waking, sleepy heads to become tiny people the identical size as the fairy. The children experience a meaningful and life lesson in each of these stories. Each lesson is easily perceived on a child's level. The latter being the concept for writing this exciting little book.
My five grandchildren inspired these four magical stories. I found the process to be very liberating. Adding a life lesson to each story was aimed to relate a meaningful message children could learn. I am retired and reside by a scenic northern Ontario lake. My other passion is oil painting. Nature's beauty has been very inspiring. I have spent many enjoyable hours capturing the colours and shadows in my art. It has been my pleasure to bring these joyful stories to the next valued generation.
